Winters have always been my favorite time of the year especially December because it’s my birthday month 😊. A season of Hot chocolate/Hot coffee, Cosy indoors, Warmth of the Sun, and kanji (Indian probiotic drink) summarize a few months of pure winter bliss. But as the wind tends to get drier our skin gets drier. So here are my 8 WINTER SKINCARE products that are worth spending your money on.
Ps. – My skin type: Combination in Summers and Dry in Winters.
1. VASELINE PETROLEUM JELLY:
Who doesn’t know this staple product which is highly used in winter? Vaseline is like a magic potion that heals various skin issues such as dryness, and chapped lips, works as a makeup remover, and helps in cuticle care, hair care, and foot care, in fact, it is kid-friendly too. That’s why it’s on the top of my list. This is a mini version in my hand but I have a few bottles at my home in different places wherever I need this :). It’s a must-have product in your Winter Skincare routine.

2. LOVE AND BEAUTY PLANET MURUMURU BUTTER AND ROSE BODY LOTION:
I recently discovered this skincare brand, it’s vegan and cruelty-free. The Murumuru Butter & Rose collection is one of Love Beauty and Planet’s popular product lines. The Murumuru Butter is sourced from the Amazon and is known for its moisturizing properties. The Body Lotion contains a blend of Murumuru Butter and Rose fragrance which provides enough hydration for the dry skin. Rose fragrance leaves a subtle floral aroma.

3. NIVEA CREAM:
Nivea Creme is a multi-purpose moisturizer that can be used on the face, hands, and body, and even as a lip balm. Its versatility makes it a popular choice for many people. It is not vegan or cruelty-free but still, a staple in my winter skincare routine. You can use this in the morning(AM) or at night(PM) routine. It is suitable for dry skin and extra dry skin. I use it before my foundation and it performs very well. Nivea cream is renowned for its rich and moisturizing formula. It is designed to provide intensive moisture to the skin, making it suitable for dry or rough areas.

4. NIVEA BODY LOTION:
I am a big fan of Nivea products 😊. But this one is the last on my list. What should I say about this product? It’s a nourishing formula that fights very well with my dry skin and keeps it hydrated for a longer period. I am a big fan of Nivea as a skincare brand and it never disappoints me. Nivea Body Milk Body Lotion is typically available in bottles or pump dispensers for convenient and mess-free application.

5. FOREST ESSENTIALS FACIAL CLEANSER KASHMIRI SAFFRON AND NEEM:
This is a gentle facial cleanser. The fragrance is typically what the forest essential products have. Just go for it girls. Best for oily, combination dry skin. Though I have dry skin it suits my skin perfectly. Maybe people with extra dry skin can skip this one and try another variant. The aroma is very rich and for each wash, you will require only pea size. Its jelly-like texture doesn’t strip off your skin.

6. PLUM E-LUMINENCE CLEANSING BALM:
A very gentle and non-stripping formula that helps to remove stubborn makeup while maintaining the pH. balance of skin. The Plum E-Luminence Simply Supple Cleansing Balm melts effortlessly on the skin. It has a wax-like texture but that didn’t bother me. Ingredients like Kokum Butter, Sunflower Seed Oil, and Shea Butter are extremely beneficial for providing deep moisturization to the skin. I prefer going with oils and balms when it comes to removing my makeup.

7. MINIMALIST 100% SQUALANE FACIAL OIL:
Squalane Oil by Minimalist boasts an impressively lightweight and rapidly absorbing formula. Its application leaves my skin with a plump, supple feel, making it a staple in my evening skincare routine. I incorporate it into my foundation routine for a radiant, dewy finish. When applied before bedtime, this oil consistently leaves my skin soft and well-hydrated come morning. Notably, it’s a non-sticky, non-comedogenic face oil, and while the brand suggests suitability for all skin types, I recommend that those with oily skin might consider skipping it. For my dry skin, it’s become an essential favorite.

8. DOVE BODY LOVE SUPPLE BOUNCE BODY BUTTER:
This is my first time trying a body butter. It has a whipped cream-like texture which makes my skin hydrated. I apply this just after my bath for a long day of hydration. I must say this is an affordable product with such good quality. Dove never stops to impress me! I recommend using your skincare or body care immediately after cleansing for the best results. I find Body butter more hydrating for winter skincare as compared to body lotions.
