GRWM- Spring Makeup Look 2024 Edition!

As the flowers begin to bloom and the weather warms up, it’s time to refresh our makeup routines and embrace the spirit of spring. Say goodbye to the deep hues of winter and welcome the season of renewal with a vibrant and playful makeup look. From dewy skin to pops of color on the cheeks and eyes, here’s how to achieve the perfect spring makeup look.

Base Makeup:

• Start your spring makeup look by prepping your skin with a lightweight moisturizer to ensure a hydrated base. No Makeup can stay longer without the help of the right moisturizer for your skin type.
• The next step would be a primer. Go for a primer that is required for your skin type. Target your skin concerns like minimizing pores, bringing back the glow, or leveling up your hydration. I have used Benefit Porefessional Primer in this look.
• Opt for Skin Tints, BB Creams, tinted moisturizers, or even a matte foundation to beat the heat. Blend it seamlessly into your skin using a damp makeup sponge for a natural-looking glow.
• I am more of a Concealer Girl and skip foundations altogether in Spring/Summer. To conceal any imperfections or dark circles, reach for a self-setting concealer and gently dab it onto areas that need extra coverage. Swiss Beauty and Toofaced concealers are my absolute favorites. Brushes are my gems to blend base products.
• Set your base makeup with a translucent powder, focusing mainly on the T-zone to control shine while keeping the rest of your face radiant. I have used Coverfx loose powder in the shade Light. Such a beautiful lightweight powder it is.

Color on Cheeks: Rosy Flush

For the cheeks, choose a rosy pink or peachy blush to mimic the natural flush of springtime. Smile and apply the blush to the apples of your cheeks, blending it upwards towards your temples for a youthful and radiant effect. Cream blush formulas work beautifully for achieving a fresh and dewy look, but if you prefer powder blush, make sure to use a light hand to avoid a heavy application. In this look, I am mixing my NYX liquid illuminator with Insight Cosmetics cream blush to see how it works on my dry skin. Beautiful is the word!!!!

Bronzer or Contouring is a subjective choice. You can either go with it or you can skip it. I am bronzing with Sugar Cosmetics Bronzer in the shade Woody Wonder. It’s a perfect shade to give warmth to an Indian skin tone if you are fair to light skin tone.

Also, don’t forget to highlight with your favorite highlighter. Using Becca Cosmetics Champagne Pop Highlighter to add that glow to my face. Shiny Shiny!

Colorful Eyeshadow: Playful and Bright

Before going forward with the eye makeup, let’s do the Eyebrows first. using Maybelline Fashion Brow Pencil in the shade Dark Grey to fill up my brows.

Spring is the perfect time to experiment with colorful eyeshadows and embrace playful hues. Opt for pastel shades like soft lilac, mint green, or baby blue to add a pop of color to your eyelids. I have taken the BH Cosmetics Colour Festival Palette for this spring makeup look. It has stunning shades to work with. Start by applying a neutral base shade in the crease area to start with a depth for your eye makeup. Add a lighter shade on the lid area for a bigger eye illusion. Now comes the fun part the star of this eye makeup, Colourful liner. Using liquid lipstick as my colorful liner and creating a pink liner on my eyes. That looks Stunning!

If you’re feeling adventurous, you can also add a touch of shimmer to the inner corners of your eyes to make them pop like I did. Finish off the eye makeup with a coat of mascara with Loreal Extactic Mascara to define your lashes and open up your eyes.

Lips: Fresh and Juicy

Complete your spring makeup look with a fresh and juicy lip color. Opt for sheer or glossy formulas in shades of purple, pink, coral, or peach to complement the rest of your makeup. For a natural look, choose a tinted lip balm or lip gloss that will hydrate your lips while adding a hint of color. If you prefer more coverage, a creamy lipstick in a soft rosy hue will also look beautiful for spring. Nyx Powder Puff lippy in the shade Teenage Dream is my favorite color for spring. Added Miss Claire lip gloss on the top for that glossy muted lip.

To enhance your lip shape and ensure long-lasting wear, outline your lips with a lip liner that matches your natural lip color or the shade of your lipstick. Then, fill in your lips with the chosen lip product, blotting gently with a tissue to remove any excess and prevent smudging.
