Winters are the time when my skin craves extra hydration and dewiness. After that Foxtale Super Glow moisturizer, a second product that grabbed my attention is FOXTALE COVER UP DEWY SUNSCREEN SPF 70 PA++++. Foxtale’s products are hits and misses for me. Where I loved their Keep Calm hydrating serum and retinol serum, I found their Super Glow moisturizer a miss.
Being a dry-skinned girl, It’s my mission to find an appropriate sunscreen with the right amount of dewiness to it. I already tried Aqualogica and Dot and Key sunscreens but they are very lightweight and somehow I needed extra moisturization in winter, I absolutely loved them but I need more. When I saw this dewy sunscreen, I was super excited to give it a try and see if it works for my skin or not.
If you’re considering buying this, my review should help you decide. It’s been more than 15 days since I have been using this sunscreen and I hope it helps.
Brand claims:
Foxtale cover-up dewy sunscreen has been formulated especially for people who prefer dewy cream-based sunscreens. Formulated with Niacinamide, provitamin b5, and vitamin E with SPF 70 pa++++ to protect your skin from UVA + UVB rays it prevents and reverses free radical damage. It absorbs quickly, as opposed to other sunscreens, and leaves skin hydrated and protected. Daily use reveals even skin tone, fewer fine lines, and nourished skin.
Packaging:
Foxtale cover-up dewy sunscreen comes in a bright yellow-colored cylindrical plastic bottle with a pump dispenser covered with a cap. The bottle is comparatively heavy but gives a luxury vibe. The bottle comes packed inside an outer cardboard box and product information and ingredients are mentioned on the outer packaging and the inside bottle is too similar to the super glow moisturizer. Foxtale is nailed in the packaging of these products.

My overall experience:
Being a dry and sensitive skin person, my skin is in love with this sunscreen. As a professional makeup artist, I understand the importance of sunscreen in our daily skincare regime. Foxtale Cover-up Dewy Sunscreen is a chemical-based sunscreen that blends into the skin quickly and provides broad-spectrum protection of SPF 70 PA++++. It gives a hydrating effect with a dewy finish with its hydrating formulation. The fact that it doesn’t irritate the eyes and can be removed easily with any oil-based cleanser or foaming cleanser makes it a good one to be used daily.
Most importantly, it doesn’t dry out my face and doesn’t give me any breakouts. It absorbs into the skin like magic. It doesn’t feel like anything you put on your face, but it still hydrates my skin. I love how my skin feels after applying this Foxtale dewy Sunscreen. Do give it a try if prefer dewy sunscreens or if you have dry skin like me, I am sure you will love it.

FAQS:
Is SPF 70 good for the face?
Sunscreens with SPF 70 and above add additional clinical benefits when applied by consumers at typically used amounts, by delivering an actual SPF that meets the minimum SPF levels recommended for skin cancer and photodamage prevention.
What is PA++++?
Sunscreen with a PA++++ rating provides protection that is equivalent to 16 times the defense against UVA rays compared to not using sunscreen. It focuses on safeguarding against UVA rays, which can contribute to premature aging and melanoma. Conversely, SPF measures protection specifically against UVB rays. Given that both UVA and UVB rays pose risks of premature aging and melanoma, it is essential to assess the level of protection against both types of rays when selecting a skincare product.
How often you should apply SPF 70?
It is generally recommended to apply SPF 70 sunscreen every two hours when exposed to the sun, especially during prolonged periods of sun exposure or outdoor activities. Additionally, reapply in case of swimming, sweating, or toweling off, as these activities can reduce the effectiveness of the sunscreen.
Can you get tan with SPF 70?
The answer is YES! No matter what sunscreen or SPF you choose, it is mandatory to apply sunscreen after every 3-4 hours. A minimal percentage of sunlight will invariably infiltrate the skin and stimulate the body’s melanin production. Melanin, a natural skin pigment, is responsible for darkening the skin, eyes, and hair.
